John Smith joins H.I.E.C as Partner, Software & Technology Practice

John is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in Executive Search within the Technology sector. He joins H.I.E.C from Renaissance Leadership, where he excelled as a Partner. At Renaissance, John led the SaaS and Go-To-Market practice, specializing in high-level searches for roles such as CRO, CMO, CCO, VP Sales, and VP EMEA. His work primarily focused on VC & PE backed software companies across Europe. This underlines H.I.E.C’s ability to access a diverse range of Board and executive talent from across the spectrum of VC, PE and Corporate sectors.

Prior to his tenure at Renaissance Leadership, John made significant contributions at Spencer Stuart and Gillamor Stephens, where he recruited for numerous FTSE100 & Fortune 500 Technology companies. This experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of the industry and an extensive network of transformational leaders.

John holds a degree in Psychology and currently resides in Great Missenden, South Buckinghamshire, with his wife and two daughters.
